The journal is an off-shoot of the multi-agency Big Cypress Watershed Team funded through the generous support of the Big Cypress Basin (Naples), Florida Gulf Coast University (Ft Myers), and Big Cypress National Preserve (Ochopee).

The journal is also indebted to South Florida Water Management District (West Palm Beach), US Army Corps of Engineers (Jacksonville), Everglades National Park (Homestead), US Geological Survey (Orlando), Fish and Wildlife Service (Vero Beach), and many other agencies and individuals within for working to better understand and manage our shared slices of the water pie.
